Seema Kelkar

Seema Kelkar is a Mumbai-based artist. She was born in 1962 in Kuwait. She studied fine art at Sir J. J. School of Art and textile design at Rachna Sansad College in Mumbai.
She held her first solo exhibition at Jehangir Art Gallery (Mumbai) in 2008.
Seema Kelkar is currently best known for her career as a model and actress. She has featured in over 100 advertising campaigns including brands such as Close Up toothpaste, Charmis cold cream, Rin, Clinic shampoo and Crocin. She also played lead roles in TV serials and films such as The Sword of Tipu Sultan by Sanjay Khan, Naseem by Saeed Akhtar Mirza, Bharat Ek Khoj by Shyam Benegal and Love You Hamesha by Kailash Surendranath.
